Java Soulnation 2013, First Press Conference

The annual urban music festival, L.A Lights Java Soulnation Festival 2013, is coming. The sixth L.A Lights Java Soulnation Festival will be held on 4th, 5th, and 6th of October 2013 at Istora Senayan Jakarta.

As previous years has proven, the festival will again carry various genre of music such as soul, pop, dance, and R&B. It is aiming to create an energetic festival to follow the youth-characterized music style today.
JSF will present well-known artists, both International and Indonesian, to fill the 2013's lineup. Performances of the artist will be on 4 stages, which have been prepared by Java Festival Production as the organizer of this 3-days festival. .

The variant music genre could be seen from artists who is confirmed to perform at the L.A Lights Java Soulnation Festival 2013. Macy Gray, an American R&B singer and songwriter, who is best known for her worldwide hit single "I Try" taken from her Multi Platinum album "On How Life Is" will perform on Sunday October 6th on the main stage. Her unique performance, which is influenced by the great jazz performer Billie Holiday and the legendary Betty Davis, is expected to satisfy the music lovers.
The festival's audience can enjoy the party atmosphere brought by the electronic dance group from Los Angeles, Far East Movement. The quartet band and their hit singles, such as G-6, Turn Up the Love and Rocketeer, will become Friday's headliner. On the same day, duo Karminfrom United States of America, originally know for the cover songs on Youtube, , will present pop-dance music genre. Both Amy Renee Heidemann and Nicholas Louis, will perform in a full-band formation and will entertain the audience with their own well-known hits "Brokenhearted" and "Hello".
Band with pop and soul funk genre, Mamas Gun, is another name that will also complete the lineup of L.A Lights Java Soulnation Festival 2013.

In addition to dozens of Indonesian artists who will perform, the festival will also present a special music project entitled The Time Capsule. The 7 segment's show will present the evolution of pop music from the 1950 to 2010, where audience will be presented with the best hits from every decade.
